Join us today to make a difference tomorrow.
We are a non profit charity organisation.
Bringing together like minded crafters in a community that offers a place to share, make friendships and, at the same time assist those in need with the gifts of our work donated.
Our Volunteers are the most wonderful, generous knitters, crocheters and sewers from across Australia and around the World. Each and every one supplies their own materials and gives freely of their time to make the most beautiful items. Most of them are also more than willing to post items to our Charity of the Month projects all at their own expense.

Who We Are?
We are a group of like-minded people with an interest in knitting, crocheting and sewing who love to create and who love to give of their time and of the items they create.
At the same time our group provides a social platform for members to share ideas and create friendships.
What We Do?
The aim of the Knit4Charities Inc. is to share ideas and patterns, give support and friendship to fellow volunteers, and together provide items to needy charities around Australia.
Many friendships have been formed both on and off the Internet!
Our History
In 2004, Pamela Tatt started a Yahoo Group to offer her crafting skills to help others in Australia.
In 2009 the group officially became an Incorporation.
With over 1,000 members from across Australia and the world well over 100,000 items are created annually.
What our recipients say
Our recipients are always touched by strangers going to so much trouble and expense on their behalf – that means as much to them as the actual items.
